Nominations Open for David Alexander Prize!
The Editorial Board of Acadiensis is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2032 David Alexander Prize. The prize is awarded annually for the best essay on the history of Atlantic Canada written in a course by an undergraduate student in any university. Click here for more details. 2022 David Alexander Prize Winner
We are pleased to announce that Dallas Karonhia'no:ron Canady has been awarded the 2022 David Alexander Prize! The $500 prize is awarded for the best essay on the history of Atlantic Canada written in course by an undergraduate student. His winning essay is entitled Investigating the Wax Scrolls: Ethnomusicology, Spirit-Capturing and Wolastoqiyik Resistance Through Sonic Reclamation. Congratulations to Dallas and thank you to the professors who submitted essays!

We are pleased to announce that Thomas Chassé has been awarded the 2021 David Alexander Prize! The prize is awarded for the best essay on the history of Atlantic Canada written in course by an undergraduate student.
